slower in the short run because the final tt gear is different. The tt has more power so it can handle it better. I don't know how to explain it. Lets say at redline in 1st on your na, your speed is 40mph, well for the tt, since it has a different final gear, it will be at like 48mph or something(i dont know the exact numbers). So if you put the tt trans in an na, the na engine will strain and bog more because more power is needed to turn the wheels than before. I think this is how it works if any of that makes sense. feel free to correct me
